{{mineralogy}} sodium calcium aluminum silicate, (<math>Na_xCa_xAlSi_3O_8</math>), a plagioclase feldspar, the third member of the albite-anorthite solid solution series. Found in fine-grained andesite lavas; crystals are rarely seen.
